What are your hours of operation?

We are open from approximately June 15th to September 15th, depending upon the weather, from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

what kind of watercraft does tc watersports have for rent?

We currently have Jet Ski, Pontoon, Ski, Deck, Wakeboard, Fishing, and Jet Boats. We also rent Kayaks, Paddle Boards, and Water Trampolines.

where is a good place to swim?

Our crew will review safe boating operations and conditions with you, upon your arrival. We'll give you the inside tip on great places to swim as well!

what do i do when it's time to come in?

The process is simple. You will drive the boat to the loading and unloading zone, where you picked the boat up, and one of our staff members will come out to meet you, and guide the boat safely to the dock.

what's included with my rental?

All safety equipment, including life jackets, is included with the cost of each rental.

will i need to refuel the boat?

Most likely the boat will not need to be refueled on a 4-hour rental.

However it is possible the boat will need to be refueled on an 8-hour rental, depending on how frequently the boat is driven and how hard the motor is run.  

If you need gas we ask that you please return to the Sugar Beach Resort to refuel.

Are dogs allowed on the boats?

No, dogs are not allowed on any of our boats or jetskis. Depending on the size of the dog using a kayak maybe a option. Give us a call and we’ll discuss available options for pets such as Doggie Day Spa - (989) 745-8460

what time is the last rental of the day?

Our last beach rental is due back one hour before sundown.

How are fuel charges calculated?

Fuel is calculated based upon the average fuel burn per hour, for that given piece of equipment. Pre-pay fuel is calculated by the average multiplied by the number of hours rented, not to exceed a full tank of fuel.

Who can operate (drive) the boat or watercraft?

Each piece of equipment allows for up to two drivers. All drivers must have a valid drivers license.

how do i know my boundaries, when on the water?

We will provide an orientation for the watercraft you are renting, as well as information about local waters. We can also share local highlights and even give you tips on hot local fishing spots.

Do I need to make a reservation, and how far in advance do i have to book my reservation?

We take walk-ins, however we strongly recommend making a reservation to ensure availability, and so you get the watercraft you are interested in. There is a 24-hour cancellation policy, so if a reservation is within the 24-hour time frame, payment for rental is processed at time of reservation.

Brochure prices different from website?

TC Watersports is constantly upgrading its fleet to better serve its customers. That being said our pricing will change from time to time based on these new pieces of equipment. We understand that this may cause our brochure to have old pricing, thus in an effort to provide customers with relevant up to date pricing please consult the website current pricing and equipment information.  We apologize for any discrepancies but in the end we will be able to provide our customers with newer equipment.

is a deposit required?

Yes as a part of your rental agreement, a valid major credit card must be on file to cover any potential incidentals or damages incurred during your rental.

what if i have no boating experience?

Our crew will guide you through a boating orientation, and safety information, before you get out on the water.

what is your current refund policy?

Cancellations made 7 days or more before your reserved date are eligible for a full refund, less a 10% processing fee.

Cancellations made between 1-7 days before your reserved date are eligible for a full refund (less a 10% processing fee) ONLY if we can rebook the time slot.

Cancellations made within 24 hours from your reserved date will receive no refunds of any kind, regardless of whether or not the equipment is rebooked by another party.

NO SHOWS are charged in full for the rental period reserved. Any party that has not arrived by the scheduled time of the rental shall be deemed a NO SHOW.

We reserve the right to cancel your reservation for violations to our policies.

We reserve the right, solely at our discretion, to reschedule and/or cancel your reservation in the event of inclement weather. Reservations cancelled do to weather (or any other VALID and APPROVED reason) during the rental period will be given a voucher for credit toward use of same or similar piece of equipment at later date or time, or in the form of a dollar amount to be used on our alternative equipment, and such vouchers will be determined at the sole discretion of TC Watersports Staff.

is your online reservations system secure?

Our website is hosted on a secure SSL server and our reservation system is PCI compliant.

how many people do the boats hold?

Our boats typically accommodate anywhere from 1 to 13 passengers, depending upon the type of watercraft, as well passenger weight.

do you deliver boats to local boat launches?

Yes, a TC Watersports team member can deliver your boat to a local boat launch. All delivery locations and times will be scheduled/confirmed after a reservation is made.

Can we operate the boat after dark?

All TC Watersports equipment, watercraft, and boats can only be operated during the day. Nothing shall be permitted to be operated after dark.

How should the watercraft or boat be secured at night?

In order to limit damage, all watercraft or boats will need to be anchored at night. Most delivery damage occurs when boats are improperly tied off and rub on a dock or shore station.

What local boat launches are options for delivery?

All delivery locations are displayed on the Delivery Map, which is located under the Boat Delivery tab of this website. If you don't see your desired delivery location please call us to schedule.

Can we pick up the boat and save the delivery fee?

Yes, please reference the delivery map for our local delivery pick up location.


Do I need a reservation?

No, we can accommodate walk-ups, but reservations are highly recommended to get a desired flight time. Usually we take reservations in advance.

We need a valid credit card number to secure the reservation. We do have a 24 hour cancellation policy. If you do not show up for your reservation or cancel with at least 24 hours then you will be charged the full amount of reservation. You can make a reservation anytime!

Is there a weight limit?

Generally our maximum weight limit is 450 lbs., although we can take up to 550lbs with correct wind conditions. The decision ultimately depends on current conditions (winds, seas, etc.) at the time of your reservation, and we usually recommend tandem and triple flights.

The captain will make the final decision.

Can people go on the boat who are not parasailing?

We are limited to 12 people per reservation. However, if there are not 12 parasailers, we can take observers. The cost for an observer is $30 for the boat ride. If we do get other parasailers for that reservation, observers will be bumped and they can go to the beach and watch.

Can two or more people fly together?

Yes. We call that our tandem ride (2), or triple ride (3), and each person gets their own harness and life jackets.

Flyers are attached to a tandem or triple bar to fly side-by-side. Most flights are tandem or triple. However, the ultimate decision is made by the captain, once he evaluates the combined weight of the people, and current conditions (winds, seas, etc.) at the time of the flight.
