We offer boat rentals, Jet Ski rentals, paddleboards, kayaks, and more! If you’re looking to rent a boat, our dry boarding experience is second to none — all on-site rentals depart from Sugar Beach Resort via our 300 ft. Twin Bay Dock, so you can board comfortably without getting wet.
We’re proud to operate at three premier Northern Michigan resorts: the Grand Beach and Sugar Beach Resorts, both offering the largest beachfront accommodations on East Grand Traverse Bay. We also have a location on West Grand Traverse Bay the on the sprawling grounds of the Delmar Resort.

A beach enthusiast and former math teacher, Jeff seized the opportunity to move from the classroom to the beach. The result of this bold move is summers spent on the beach with TC Watersports, and an off-season full of traveling across the United States with family and friends.
Growing up in a beachfront town, he loves to swim and spend time playing beach volleyball. From the moment Jeff could drive he loved going fast. After saving money for two years he purchased his first Jet Ski at the age of 15. His passion for speed is evident when you see him out on our Seadoo’s.
As a high school junior, he jumped at the opportunity to work for a local Jet Ski rental eventually working his way into a management role. His passion for boating grew through his college years as he became an avid wakeboarder. Jeff then spent several years working with families and children as a local math teacher.
This background lends itself well to the customer service Jeff provides TC Watersports customers, as he can frequently be seen delivering equipment as the morning sun rises, with a smile on his face and his toes in the sand!

Jackson is our team manager at TC Watersports. With over 10 years of experience, I am a passionate and dedicated maritime professional committed to delivering unforgettable experiences on the water. Known for my warm, welcoming nature, I take great pride in offering both tourists and locals the highest level of service—ensuring every journey is safe, enjoyable, and truly memorable.
My time as an educator has been just as rewarding as my work on the sea, and it’s inspired me to continue this path with future plans to teach in China. Whether I’m guiding a tour or leading a classroom, my mission remains the same: to create meaningful, memorable experiences through kindness, respect, and genuine connection.

Peter is a proud Traverse City Michigan native, entrepreneur and a Delmar manager at TC Watersports. He is a hardworking, fun-loving and helpful guy who will bring a smile to your face before you get a chance to shake his hand.
Peter is extremely passionate about the outdoors, especially the water. Peter is skilled and knowledgeable in our field and loves sharing his enthusiasm about our industry with others.
Peter is a former runner and an Eastern Michigan graduate with a bachelors in communications. In his free time he enjoys frisbee golfing, beach volleyball, golfing, paddle boarding and snowboarding, optimizing every aspect of the ever changing seasons in Northern Michigan. He is also a family man who is avid in music and sports.
Peter is a genuine, dedicated, down to earth guy and a crucial member of the TC Watersports team who is looking forward to brightening your day and getting you out there!
